Week 6

Your body: Its confirmed. You are pregnant! By this time, your uterus is about the size of a plum. Your breasts will probably be very tender and you will probably have morning sickness. Dont worry though, it usually only lasts the first three months. You really want to make sure you stay away from things that could be harmful to your baby such as smoking, drinking and drugs. These could cause the baby to have defects and you could lose the baby.

Baby: This week, your baby is beginning to work on growing its nervous system. The heart usually starts to beat around this time and you can see the tiny limb buds which will eventually be able to move and kick.
