Week 9

Your body: In week nine of your pregnancy, you might start breaking out due to the increased amount of hormones in your body. Some women might get lucky and have very smooth skin, while others might have to wait until after their baby is born to have nice skin again. By this time, you might start to feel a dull cramping. This is due to the uterus beginning to stretch. You may find a slight brownish or reddish discharge during this time, but dont worry. As long as the discharge is not bright red, you should be fine. This should lessen in the second and third trimester of your pregnancy.

Baby: Your baby is growing quite fast these days and measuring about an inch. You can not yet tell if your baby is a boy or girl. Fingers and toes are beginning to form.
